Established in 1961 on the foundations of an original homestead, Lazy EY Ranch is operated by siblings, Kelsey and Steven Brewer who came into ownership in 2016. Here they raise commercial Black Angus cattle and offer USDA-Inspected Grass-Fed, 100% Pasture Raised Angus Beef. The 3rd generation ranch is situated along the Little Missouri River in the beautiful Badlands of Southwest North Dakota.

Our Black Angus cattle are born, bred and raised on native North Dakota pastures where they graze on native grasses, legumes and forage year-round. During the winter, the cattle are supplemented with all-natural premium supplements and are fed quality grass mix and legume hay.

We currently offer USDA-Inspected Beef 2x per year with the hopes of expanding our Farm to Table operation in 2022.

Lazy EY Ranch sustains 300 head of cattle and is proud to be striving towards implementation of progressive ranch management strategies and techniques. Our cattle are rotationally grazed on a tight schedule to preserve pastures and build soil health and condition. Along with many other regenerative managements practices, our goal is to use our animals in ways that leave a positive impact on the land we love.
